Cozy Inn
Burgers were tender and freshly cooked, served hot and ready to eat. If particular about condiments, mention it when you order. I like cheeseburgers, but these were not available on their menu, so ONLY hamburgers offered.
For a successful and simple burger business, they have a strong customer following. Enjoy this "slider" experience if this is your kinda craving!
The Aladdin Cafe
I am so glad we stopped in at Aladdin. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The sampler is a must and the spanakopita was so good. We got the Chicken Shwarma and the lamb gyro. Both were tasty and well seasoned. Will definitely be there again when we come back to Lawrence. Highly recommend.
Hanna's Corner
I wasn't sure about this place when I first pulled up, but there were no other good breakfast places around so I decided to give it a try based on other Yelp reviews. I'm glad I did. The service was fast and friendly. The eggs were done right. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and the bacon was thick and cooked perfectly.

I often stop at Do-Bs on my drives between KC and Wichita. My favorite is the Spartan Cheesesteak. The steak is always cooked perfect and tender. I like the addition of the fresh juicy mushrooms and the crunch of the jalapeño's. The bacon makes the sandwich pretty salty so if you're watching your salt intake, ask for no bacon. The "joint" is obviously a local favorite and always hopping all times of the day!

Staying in Timken there aren't a lot of options in this area for sit down dinners. This place was easy to find and conveniently located. There were 12 of us on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy so we were divided into 3 tables. The waitress was attentive and friendly.
Great food in the middle of nowhere. Chicken Fried Steak was great. Service was excellent.
Easton Cafe
5 Stars is what the Easton Cafe deserves. We have been several times since my first posting and this place is consistently good. Biscuits and Gravy, Open face Roast Beef, Cat Fish and pies to name a few of our favorites. Very friendly staff and small town spot Hours vary but are generally 8am - 9pm
