I got there around 7AM for breakfast and sat at the bar. I ordered the Pig sandwich on raisin bread. It took a few minutes for the cook to come out to the grill but I wasn't in a rush. The sandwich was huge and stacked with meat. I didn't order any sides and I don't think I could have ate them if I did.

Effie's Place

A nice local diner. They are extremely busy on weekends but they do seem to have just enough parking for the crowd that's inside the place.

The menu is quite extensive-- lots of breakfast options (I believe it's served all day), and lunch and dinner options as well. This is a place where everyone is bound to find something they want-- sweet or savory, and served with a smile from the really great front of house staff.

Hours are 7am - 8pm   7 days a week

Newcomb Farms Restaurant

Great diner feel with awesome service and tasty food. I've been coming to this place for years and the quality of the food has remained consistent. They have great plates cooked in a skillet so it comes out nice and hot. They are generous with toppings (e.g., hollandaise, cheese, gravy). Prepare to leave with a full belly.

The Little Depot Diner

Our diner is a Worcester Lunch Car (#650) that was built in 1929. Although it once did have wheels, it was never part of a train. When first built, it’s first location was known as Harry's Diner in Lynn MA. Her second stop was downtown Danvers where it became known as Cal's Diner. In 1950 the diner was moved to its current location in Peabody Square and became Holly's Diner. It switched hands a few more times: Kurly's Diner, The Railroad Diner, The Whistlestop Diner & then ultimately The Little Depot Diner. The Little Depot Diner became established in 2008 by Jim & Judy Miles. In 2009 they were featured on the “Well-known” TV show: Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives. They sold the business in November 2012 to Ross & Alicia Scanlon who created the “Breakfast with the Blues” theme. The diner was sold in October 2017 to Chuck and Nikki Maxwell who have continued the “Breakfast with the Blues” tradition!
